YOU are invited to join your friends and colleagues in Laurel, Mississippi, November 9th & 10th, for the Mississippi Association Medical Staff Services Annual Conference. The Conference will offer excellent educational opportunities at an affordable price for medical staff services professionals, managed care professionals, and provider credentialing specialists from across the state. Administrators, risk managers, chiefs of staff and other medical staff leaders are invited and encouraged to attend.

All Conference activities will take place at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
A limited block of guest suites has been reserved at Holiday Inn Express-Laurel for MAMSS Conference registrants at a discounted rate of $159 (plus taxes and fees) per night. Conference T-Shirt
Conference T-shirts will be provided again this year for all who register by October 9th! Attendees are encouraged to wear conference t-shirts on Friday, November 10. Encourage your organization to be a sponsor and have their logo included on the back of the t-shirt! Sponsorships are only $100. The Glory House
The Glory House offers various services and ministry facets for anyone who desires to serve others as well as those in need of love and caring. The Glory House simply brings the goodness of God to those in its reach. ESL classes, community meals, community service projects, classes for better living, and blessing others is our priority. There's so much to be done and plenty of opportunities to give, serve and support.
Our annual Christmas Store is an opportunity for families referred to us by local agencies to come shop for Christmas gifts for their children at no cost. We always need helpers to donate items, wrap presents and sort donations for this very special store. Items Needed for Their Christmas Store |
AIR TRAVEL The Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport is approximately 19 miles from South Central Regional Medical Center. TEMPERATURE/ATTIRE The average temperature in Laurel in November is in the mid to upper 70s. Attire during all sessions and events at the conference will be business casual. It is usually best to dress in layers due to fluctuation in room temperatures. CONTINUING EDUCATION The program is pending up to -- CEUs by NAMSS. Conference participants are expected to claim credit for only those sessions attended. EXHIBITS Exhibiting companies may showcase products and services of interest to MAMSS members and Annual Conference registrants on November 9th and 10th. Refreshment breaks will be served in the area and drawings for great door prizes will be held in conjunction with some exhibits. All attendees are encouraged to spend time in the exhibit area. REGISTERATION To attend the conference you must register online no later than November 8, 2023. You will have the option to pay online via credit card. If you choose to pay by check please be sure to send a copy of your invoice along with payment. CANCELLATION Cancellations received no later than October 9, 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $20 processing fee. After October 9, 2023, no refunds will be made, but a substitute from the same organization can be named. Replacement name(s) must be submitted to MAMSS prior to the Conference. |
