For over fifteen years, the ongoing focus of the Mississippi Association Medical Staff Services (MAMSS) has been the provision of continuing education for our membership. In response to declining financial support of education by our membership's employers and rising costs of education, the MAMSS Board of Directors voted in 2010 to establish a unique opportunity for members to receive assistance in supporting educational endeavors and achieving career goals. The Board of Directors voted to establish an annual scholarship to pay registration fees for one educational offering, selected from the following: National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) Annual Conference, MAMSS Annual Conference, or a CPCS/CPMSM Certification Preparation Course that has been approved for NAMSS CE Credits.
